Regardless of what your twenty to thirty year old World Of Warcraft professional stay at home gamer says... you can't chat securely, unless you plan on chatting securely.  They simply do not know what they are talking about.  If they did, things would be much different.  They were raised around computers so naturally that makes them a valuable commodity in those little pinhead brains of theirs.  Just ask them if they use THEIR real name or REAL information on Internet sites...and almost all of them will say NO WAY.  That's because the only way they know how to protect their online activities.  If they did... like me... they would still have some of the same accounts they opened in 1994.

But... they do know how to download and install stuff.  You can tell that by what's on their machines.  You know they can't actually afford half the applications they have, but you never ask where they get it from. (Just a tip...but you should start because if it's on your network... you're most likely the one that will go to jail for it.  They'll deny that if you ask them...but just remember that they aren't the one that will be wearing pinstripes.)
