I decided I would continue to add Community Builder modules to the Northside Alumni Site today. Now that may not be a big thrill to you, because you may have found this article through some sort of search engine that said 'hey, here's some information about Community Builder... or heck,  you may have even been looking for Northside Alumni stuff.  Doesn't really matter.  The point is that you found this site, which means that something in the way it's created works.  I'm not going to ever get in some sort of discussion with alot of the other Joomla/CMS/Plug-In/Social Networking gurus.. because they simply do not have enough intestinal fortitude to carry on an intelligent discussion. Some of them... yes.  But most of them are just blowhards that have filled their pockets with money from unsuspecting clients who have... hmmm... let me think.  LOST THEIR BEHINDS on the schemes these guys have carried out on them. I'm just a guy who's worked in this field for over 20 years now... 15 hour days miniumum, in just about every facet of the business you can imagine.  But, I digress.

What I really want to share with you is today's experience with Community Builder, it's extensions, it's support and other rambilngs.  So, without furrther ado... let me tell you what you can expect when you install CBProfile Book, Nant's Gallery, AutoWelcome, Kunena and other stuff on a Joomla site running CB Subs.

Notes:

Nant's response in forums to not only my question, but another 'document' subscriber in the forums concerning 'direct access not at this location' message.  Basically Nants told the other document subscriber that he had already answered that question at least 50 times that that they should 'search the forums".  Ok, I get it Nants.  It's been a hard day...and you're tired of answering the same question ad-naseum. But you know what?  If that other subscriber is like me, he answers questions concerning your software until he's ready to burst as well. And he probably does it for the same price as you.  Not much.  And you know what else???  Maybe yoiu should implement a better forums.  How about that?  The truth is you can't find useful information in your forums.  Fix it...

I don't know about the other guy, but I not only subscribe to your docs, for over 4 years now... but I also own CB Subs, another one of your products that pays the bills.  So why would you be so smug as to say "Study the Manual".  I did.  But I was so busy trying to customize your app that I got really tired and could no longer keep my eyes open.  So give me a break.  I don't really HAVE to purchase your software you know.  I don't need it that bad.  If I want to get abused, I just head back over to Jom Social.
