If by any chance you are following along…and are trying to figure out why there would be a skip in the dates from Day Three to Day Four… it's because I don't always have time to write on a day by day basis.  So, what the 'Day Number" refers to the number of the work day…not the calendar date.   That being said...Let's get started on things that have been left over from the to-do lists...and yesterday's notes. What does Joomlapolis  use for their downloads area?

• They Use DocMan .. And I probably will too.
  • Update: I decided on Remository, because I've used it before and is Joomla 1.5 native.   It installed easily enough… once I got back into the way they do things over at http://www.remository.com   If you're looking for support…they have plenty of it in the forums.  If you're looking for documentation…well…that's a different story.  I couldn't find an installation guide anywhere.  I looked in the both readme files, searched the forums, and even went back to an installation I used the app for a few months back.  So in case you want to know how to install Remository… here's how I did it. (not necessarily the correct way).
    • Download the file
    • Install the file from 'extensions - install/uninstall' on backend of Salestrainingandnetworking.com.  IF you do this from the original download, you will get an error message requiring much more expertise than I possess..to understand.  All it means it that you must unzip the file… (but do not extract it) and then upload the straight .tar file.
    • Installed easily… but that is where it ends.  From here… your guess is as good as mine when it comes to how to work this application.  I do know that it is very intuitive.  As I said before, I have used this application..so it must be fairly easy.

• The new subscription model (for sites with paid subscribers)
  • I didn't get to this… not enough time.

• Need better formatting on Joomlapolis for blog
  • This is very…very easy.  Just go to your profile and select an editor.  Yep… it's that easy.

• Notes made concerning changes I need to make, discovered during this study time.
  • Enable the 'terms of service" agreement in user registration.
  • Add an image or logo to the registration page.
  • Add a ticketing system for my clients
